Crostini & Bruschetta

I hope you had a wonderful and peaceful Christmas!

I have been kind of busy, as I think most of you have been, with these holidays, and I had not much time to write on my blog, however with so much gathering with family, friends and unexpected guest, the crostinis & bruschettas always helped me out and were so useful for those last minute snacks or appetizers at home, that I wanted to share it with you!

They are so versatile, you can use them as an appetizer, as a fast lunch next to your soup or some salad, and also as a light dinner meal.

They are very easy, quick to make and delicious!

Crostini and Bruschetta are one of the most popular Italian snacks generally used as Antipasti, basically consist on slices of lightly toasted bread, with a variety of toppings, as dips, spreads or topping mixture.

What's the difference between Crostini & Bruschetta?

Crostini is a small piece of baked bread or little toasts topped with a variety of ingredients like cheese, pattes, pesto, vegetables, meat, or seafood.

Bruschetta is a larger piece of bread that is grilled or toasted and can be rubbed with garlic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, or topped as crostini.

All you need is fresh bread as a baguette, A&A Garlic Infused Olive Oil and a few minutes to create these delectable and fun snacks!

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Slice your bread in slices.
  • Drizzle the slices with A&A Garlic Infused EVOO and bake them for around 8 minutes or until golden.
  • Top them with your favorite topping and served warm.
